All Day Maintenance

Wizard101 MaintenanceAs part of our ongoing effort to improve Wizard101, we are performing ongoing maintenance on the game.

Today only, Paying Players* will be able to log in to the game, and Free to Play players will have intermittent access. All players may experience a delay the first time they log a character in to the world today. This is expected and there's no need to submit a bug about this delay.

Interview with Heather Raven

Today I got the chance to interview the wonderful Heather Raven www.thewanderingconjurer.blogspot.com. She is a great wizard here is the interview!

Q:How did you find Wizard 101?
A:Well my brother saw a TV commercial and,and I watched him playing it and thought it was cute,and I saw that you could get a unicorn pet so I made a wizard.
Q:Why did you choose myth as your school?
A:Well I took the quiz and that was the one I got, it sounded cool. Plus I like Houdini.
Q:Who is your best friend in game?
A:My real life friends Ryan Ghostbane and Elijah Moonflame.
Q:Who is your favorite teacher and why?
A:Well I like Lydia Greyrose, she is so cute!
Q:What is your favorite part of the game?
A:That's tough,I really like the community that is part of the game. It makes gameplay really interesting.
Q:If you could change one thing about the game what would it be?
A: A better menu chat system.
Q:What is your biggest game related goal?
A:I think my biggest goal currently is to get Lenora(my death wizard) to Grandmaster before Halloween. It's crazy!
Q: What does Wizard 101 mean to you?
A:It means an escape from the mundane, and a magical adventure with some really great people. Who I am lucky enough to call my friends.

Makeover and News

Well the whole blog has gotten a makeover. I hope you guys like it this way. Other then that unless you have been under a rock you know that Dalia Falmea has become the new producer of Kingsisle. She posted a letter on the official website containing loads of information. Including this pictureI wonder what it means? Post your thoughts on it readers. I think its a mount,pet, and enemy in one picture. I will be posting much more now with more info, tips, and everything else, see ya in the Spiral!

Sorry for not posting. Been really busy with stuff in real life. I promise I will post much more after a little bit. I just learned how to use html coding and I want to see what I can do with it. So see ya in the spiral.

Cody in Marleybone Celestia Wallpaper and Weekly Contest

Hi guys, well Cody has reached Marleybone and is now in Hyde Park. Also a new Celestia wallpaper has been revealed here it is.

Lastly a weekly contest will now be going on. The prize will always be Wiz Blox codes. Some will be better then others maybe it will be your lucky week,don't expect amazing things most of them will most likely be gold. So comment to enter,don't forget contact info! Pvp Tips

We all know pvp is hard to do so here are some tips from warlords(and me) to help us all out.
First up an interview with pvp warlord Samantha Darkflame.
Q:What attracted you to the world of pvp?
A:I just loved the commander gear with the wings lol.
Q:What is your favorite strategy?
A: First I feint, then I use a tower on myself, and when I get 7 power pips I use Judgement.
Q:If you could change anything about pvp what would it be?
A:I would make it so that it would be more balanced when you lose and win. I.E when you lose you lose 10 rank and when you win you gain 10.
Q:Do you have any tips for new pvpers?
A:Never give up and make sure to have tower shield.

Now the 10 top tips for winning in Pvp

1.Shield a lot it will help you go far.
2.Make sure your only putting in cards you need.
3.Heal when you need too,don't delay it otherwise you could die.
4.Make sure you have a good power pip percentage, it can really help you.
5.Have a good resist, that will help you win.
Now my tips-
6.Make sure you know how to play against each school
7.Keep some heals,toughs, and keens in your sideboard those will become useful when you are losing
8.Be kind to your opponent(s).
9.When playing with a group communication is vital.
10.Have Fun!
